Delicious homemade granola for breakfast, mixed with milk or yogurt or just as a snack to beat the afternoon slump

It’s easy to make and you can add any nuts or fruit you like so it suits your specific needs and taste.

Ingredients:

  1. 110 ml oil ( I used good quality olive oil)
  2. 110 ml honey or maple syrup
  3. 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  4. 1/2 tsp salt
  5. 330 g jumbo oats
  6. 110 g any nuts you like (I used mix of walnut, hazelnut, almond, pecan)
  7. 110 g dried fruit (raisins, sultanas, apricots, freeze dried fruit)

Method:

  1. Heat oven 150 dgr Celsia
  2. Line your tin with parchment paper
  3. Mix together oil, honey (or maple syrup), cinnamon and salt
  4. Add oats and nuts and mix thoroughly
  5. Arrange the mix on your tray and bake for about 20 min. I baked it in 2 batches. Keep checking and stir occasionally as it’s really easy to burn the nuts
  6. After you take it out from the oven leave it to cool then stir in your fruit and store it an airtight container. It will keep for long time but I bet it will be eaten in no time
  7. Eat on its own as a healthy and delicious treat or mix with yogurt.

Enjoy!
