Fragile, date sensitive products and sale items cannot be returned if not faulty as they may not be suitable for re-sale.

If for any reason a chocolate item you have ordered is out of stock we will contact you for your choice of replacement, the option to cancel the order or arrange a later chocolate delivery to include your original chosen chocolate item.

All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise, and where applicable.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.

Delivery Options

We offer a delivery options for chocolate products which will be offered to you in checkout and are based on the date of the order, total weight and the delivery address provided.

Our aim is to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible. Please note there is a delivery on Monday to Friday only. Orders are processed from 9am to 4.00 pm. While we make everything to process any order placed prior to 11am GMT (any other time ?, 3.00 pm) on the same day, during busy seasonal periods, bank holidays and public holidays your order may be dispatched for up to 72 hours after you place it.

Please note that all orders shipped by standard post are at customer’s own risk and we would advise, that customers choose trackable postal or courier options.

The chocolate products will be delivered to the address as you enter it (work, family member) and cannot accept any liability for late or failed delivery if the quoted address, phone number or other contact details provided are incorrect.

Vera Miklas doesn’t accept any responsibility for delays and the receipt of orders due to unfavourable weather conditions, custom clearance, custom inspections or any other issues out of our control.

In case of failed collection we cannot be held responsible. No refund is possible due to the unknown holding conditions & temperatures that may possibly affect the quality of our products.

We regret that we are unable to accept chocolate orders for delivery to an address containing a PO Box number.

In order to keep delivery costs to a minimum we use registered post, if you wish to have you order shipped using a courier please contact us directly.

Delivery Charges
Delivery charges vary depending on the type of products ordered and the service you select and cannot be refunded. Your delivery charges will be clearly indicated at checkout.

International delivery time and price vary depending on the country. Please use the following list below as a guide. Delivery costs are based on weight. Please note that all international deliveries require a signature for delivery and are fully trackable.

Accurate P&P cost will be calculated on the total weight of your order and shown at checkout.


All orders are dispatched with DPD Couriers and the charge for this is £9 regardless of size or weight.  This is a priority service which has a tracking number. You must be there to sign for your goods, the driver will normally call or text first to make sure you are at provided address.
